It was agreed at the LLACC meeting on Monday that it's important for all Local Councils to be well informed about the two consultations currently being run by Luton Airport :


1) URGENT, deadline 11th Nov: Pre-consultation on proposals to expand to 19 million passengers, which also includes setting aside the noise contour limit

2) Deadline 5th Feb: Consultation on arrivals flight path changes, which will have an impact on communities north-east, north and north-west of the Airport

It's important for Parish, Town and Community Councils to circulate this information to local people and encouraging them to respond, as well as to consider submitting their own response as well."
